About VerseSoul

Words for the days you need somewhere soft to land

VerseSoul began as a simple idea: that a poem, well placed, can do what a long conversation sometimes can't. It started as a personal collection of Urdu and English verses, and slowly grew into a small home for anyone who reads a couplet at 2 a.m. and feels a little less alone.

Today, VerseSoul is written and curated by Zeenat Fyaz, along with a small circle of contributing voices, and covers three things closely: poetry in Urdu and English, gentle healing and wellness writing, and honest solo-travel stories. Everything published here is written to be read slowly, not skimmed — we would rather publish one good poem a week than ten forgettable ones.

What you'll find here

  • Urdu & English Poetry — ghazals, nazms and free verse across heartbreak, emotional, motivational and healing moods.
  • Healing & Wellness — grounded, non-clinical writing on self-love, anxiety, and emotional healing.
  • Solo Travel — practical, personal stories from travelling alone, written to be useful as much as inspiring.

Why we write

Feel good. Look good. Live inspired. — it's more than a tagline for us. Every piece on VerseSoul is written with one question in mind: will this make someone's day feel a little lighter? If the answer is yes, it gets published. If not, it waits.

A note on originality

All poetry and articles on VerseSoul are original work unless clearly credited otherwise. We take authorship seriously, both ours and anyone we feature.
